Information Technology are undertaking in-depth analysis work on the firewalls controlling access to the internet on Wednesday 2 December 2015 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. This work is required in order to try and resolve ongoing copyright compliance issues. As a result, the following systems and services are impacted:

Access from campus to university hosted systems, websites and the internet may be disrupted by intermittent outages for 5 to 10 minutes between 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Access off campus to the following systems/services that are hosted off campus will be unaffected during this time:
- iLearn (except for Echo 360)
- Gmail
- Ask.mq.edu.au (Tracker)
- OneHelp

As this work requires coordination with the vendors support team that are located in Israel this needs to be undertaken in the evening. To minimise any potential impacts to the university staff and students the work is scheduled as late as practical.
