On 29 August 2026 the iThenticate 2.0 upgrade is scheduled to launch.

To facilitate this upgrade, access to iThenticate will be unavailable from 12:00 AM on 29 August 2026 until 12:00 AM on 30 August 2026.

About the upgrade:
This vendor-managed upgrade moves Macquarie University to iThenticate 2.0. During the outage users will be unable to submit documents, generate similarity reports or access review functions. The maintenance has been scheduled on a weekend to minimise impact to research activities.
