Identified - You may have received an email with subject "Email Update” which has been sent this morning from a Macquarie University email address. The email asks you to click to update your account info, and is signed from “Outlook Team”. This is a SPAM email.

Please DO NOT click on the link. If you received one of these emails, please delete it. There is no further action required if you simply delete the email. If you did click on the link, please change your OneID password immediately and contact the IT Service Desk on (02) 9850 4357.

The Service Desk has received many reports of the SPAM email this morning - there is no further need to report the email.

This work will impact all internet connectivity for Macquarie University causing one outage of between 30 seconds and 3 minutes during each of the following planned windows:

Thursday 5 July 2018 1:00am – 6:00am
Thursday 5 July 2018 10:00pm - Friday 6 July 2018 6:00am
Internet connectivity will resume as normal after each maintenance work is complete.

Resolved - Thank you for your patience during our iPrint upgrade. We are pleased to advise you that the iPrint upgrade was successful and access to iprint.mq.edu.au is now fully restored. staff and students should now be able to submit print jobs via the web as well as using any iPrint enabled computers on Campus. You can also download the iPrint driver to install on your personal machine to print to our iPrint enabled printers.

Investigating - There is a global issue impacting all users regarding email notifications of the Ethics, Biosafety & other applications systems. Email notifications have not been working since 1505 hours, 28 June 2018. This means users may not receive email notifications notifying them when there are actions required.

This issue is currently being investigated by our IT technicians. We will provide an update as soon as information is available.
